Representing Embry-Riddle's Daytona Beach campus, the Eagles Flight
Team competes at the annual National Intercollegiate Flying
Association's (NIFA) SAFECON competitions.
The events that we compete in are not aerobatic, but instead are
precision flying and knowledge events.
These events help develop a pilot's ability to fly an airplane in a
safe and competent manner. The team has weekly practices of all events
and has the honor to fly the University's Cessna 172s.
The team is active outside of competition as well. We also volunteer for
community and campus projects, as well as help contribute to the safety
and quality of aviation in our area.
Anyone can be a member of the Eagles Flight Team. There is no minimum
flight time, experience, or rating requirements to become a member of
the team (however, some events do have specific requirements).
Learn more about how to join the team by visiting our
prospective members website.

Mission Statement: The Eagles Flight Team is dedicated to the promotion
of aviation excellence through teamwork, professionalism, and safety in
a collegiate competition atmosphere.
