Welcome to
EFT Safety
Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University has always been known for its extensive and
industry-leading safety culture instilled in all of its students and
aviation professionals. The Embry-Riddle Eagles Flight Team has the
same goals in mind, along with becoming the most safety-oriented
collegiate aviation competition team in the country
Last year in our 2006-2007
season, our members were honored and privileged to take part in the
accredited FAA wings program, as well as become more involved in our
General Aviation and local airport community, most notably by visiting
the Airport Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) division of the Daytona Beach
International Airport.
This year, our goals include
visiting the Daytona Beach Air Traffic Control Tower, become even more
involved in the FAA Wings Program and to ultimately win the SAFECON AA
safety award this year.
As pilots, our inherent goal,
regardless of skill level, is to have an excellent safety culture.
Simply, it is in everything that we do. This year, we will continue to
improve upon our proven safety culture by continually keeping our
members up to date and aware of changes in our industry, and an
unyielding commitment to safety in everything we do.
Welcome to EFT Safety,
2007-2008.
Sincerely,
Michael A. Crowley
