Joining the Eagles Flight Team

The first step in becoming a member on the Eagles Flight Team is to attend our Mass Briefing. The briefing is held for prospective members at the beginning of each fall semester.

 We will introduce, discuss, and have a question and answer session regarding the Eagles Flight Team. At this time you will meet our members including our Head Coach Les Westbrooks, Assistant Coach Derek Herchko, as well as your ground and flight event coaches. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Eagles Flight Team we encourage you to attend our Mass Briefing.

We invite our new prospective members to ask questions regarding the team. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Basic requirements of becoming a member

• Be a full time student (at least 6 credit hours) at the Daytona Beach campus, unless he/she is a graduating senior
• Actively participate in all team meetings and two of the following: SCAN, REC, or COMPACC
• Maintain at least a CGPA of 2.75 in the ERAU academic curriculum
• Display good moral character and represent ERAU in a credible manner at all times.
